Alice Daniel is a public radio journalist, podcaster, and writer whose work explores the stories hiding in plain sight: from California’s San Joaquin Valley to the grief of losing a closest friend. She came to me ready to shop her debut memoir, Fall Apart, Carry On, to book publishers and needed a website that could hold the full scope of her work: author, broadcaster, podcaster, and storyteller.

I designed the site with a deliberately editorial aesthetic, employing clean typography, strong hierarchy, and a restrained palette that feels at home on a magazine page. The result lets Alice’s writing and voice take center stage while giving the site the credibility of a seasoned journalist.
